Presentation - History
The Chateau de la Grange is a family property owned by the Bouron family since 1832. It is one of the oldest Cognac domains in France, having remained in the same family for 5 generations.
Our domain covers a large area of vineyards, located on three of the six growths (crus) making up the delimited region of cognac.
The family Castle is located 30 km north-west from the town of Cognac. It is there that the last stages of aging and blending take place, prior to the bottling process.
Built around an ancient tower from the 14th century, and another from the 15th, the Chateau's appearance immediately suggests the generations that have contributed, since Louis Bouron, to perfect the family's own art in the production of a great Cognac.
